No gently persuading intro, no lolling prelude.. like a punch in the face Miles Away rupture’s the air with it’s huge electro style bass, pitch glide cutting a dynamic edge into the briskly forming groove. Starkly contrasting yet balanced in impeccable synergy are the solid tones of Alex Class with his take on the trance vocal in it’s most defined form.
Class’s exemplary vocal winds down into melody, contouring the sound in a honeyed melange of layered pianos. A spellbinding six and a half minutes is the result of this successful fusion of style, vocal perfection and technical prowess putting Lele Troniq on the trance map with this energetic dancefloor filler.
Erick Strong pumps a raw, industrial edge into the bassline with his vocal remix but manages to keep things balanced with a softer sidechained synth motif on the top end. Arpeggiated, wooden synths bounce through the breakdown, fizzing out in a spectacular drop that culminates in melody bursting from every corner of audible frequency. Over the past few months we’ve come to expect a certain standard of perfection from Ericks work as he has proven himself to be a slick and exceptional emerging talent, this remix is no exception.
