Tony Walls was bitten by the electronic music bug as a youngster when he came into possession of his first set of turntables and a 2 channel mixer at the impressionable age of 12. So dedicated was he to his new-found predilection he would hound family and neighbours for odd jobs, saving every penny towards buying vinyl and learning the craft. The rest as they say.. is history.
18 years on and the fire which once lit Tony’s passion for EDM shows no signs of fizzling out. In the time since, he has held residencies at the biggest and longest running under 18s event to have reached the Northern Irish shores, Precious night club located at the famous Odyssey Pavilion which hosted over 5 rooms of sound and was the only all exclusive members venue in Northern Ireland and a regular for the rich and famous, and in addition Milk night club, a club which has its roots firmly fixed in the history of dance music in Northern Ireland. Tony was also a regular to play for the afterhours revellers in the infamous underground venues of Belfast.
Having teamed up with local promoters Essential Music Productions in 2010 Tony has found new ways to express his creativity and together they have been organising various local events providing a platform for local talent and up and coming DJs.
In early 2010 Tony started to learn the art of production. Studying avidly in every subject from music science and sound engineering to online tutorials, indeed any information which can be used to better understand and develop the skills needed to transfer his ideas to DAW and enter this new and exciting world.
While this new leg of his journey has just begun, through determination and passion Tony will succeed and bring his unique sound to the world. This along with over 20 years of experience in DJing and entertaining… Watch out for Tony Walls.
